About our inpatient program

Get on the road to recovery with personalised therapy and support

Whatever your reason for staying with us, our 21-day inpatient program is designed to help you start working towards better mental health – for life!

It’s suitable for people aged 18 and over who are living with:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Trauma
  • Personality disorders
  • Mood disorders
  • PTSD
  • Psychosis
  • Alcohol and drug dependency
  • Addictive behaviours
  • Grief and loss

What does it involve?

You’ll receive a combination of therapies to foster improved mental health. You’ll learn practical skills to help you:

  • manage intense emotions, distress and harmful behaviours
  • gain personal insight through reflection and self-examination
  • develop habits that foster mental wellbeing, including self-care
  • manage stress and anxiety in everyday situations
  • improve your physical wellness and strength
  • build and maintain healthy relationships
  • gain greater confidence.

First off, you’ll have an assessment to discover your goals. Then we’ll create a program to help you reach them.

You’ll attend group psychoeducation sessions daily and have supervised access to the gym. In addition, you can attend sessions in the hydrotherapy pool supervised by an exercise physiologist, along with daily outdoor walks.

You’ll also be offered opportunities for one-to-one counselling outside the scheduled groups.

Trained therapists come in to facilitate weekly art, music therapy and yoga sessions.

You’ll be staying in comfortable, refurbished accommodation, with an outdoor courtyard where you can enjoy some fresh air and time alone or with friends and family. At the completion of your stay, you’re welcome to join our Managing Mood day program if you’d like some ongoing support.

Your family members and support people are welcome to visit. Please contact our friendly team to discuss visiting hours.
